Shops that run on Retailer OS can send order and account texts to their own customers. This page shows exactly how a customer agrees to receive them, what those messages say, and how to stop them.
There are exactly two places a customer can opt in, and both are on the shop’s own storefront: creating an account, and checking out. Both are reproduced below word for word, with the URL and the steps to reach each one live. In both places order texts and marketing texts are two separate boxes — either can be agreed to without the other, both are unticked by default, the mobile number field appears only once a box is ticked, and the account or the order completes with neither. Marketing is never a condition of buying anything. Consent is recorded against that one shop, with the time and the source.
There is no other opt-in. Nobody is added by a shop, imported from a list, or carried over from another shop, and a number given to one shop is never used by another.
Open https://app.retaileros.ai/store/ridgeline-tools-demo, press Sign in in the header, then the Create account tab. The two boxes sit at the bottom of the form, above the submit button.
